1. Savannah, Georgia, USA
This endlessly charming city in Georgia is perfect for a honeymoon. Between foodie spots like The Grey and Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room and stunning squares and parks, you’ll fall head over heels for this Southern city.
Wander along River Street for some great shopping, and perhaps take a day trip or overnight stay on the lovely Tybee Island. Regardless, you’ll absolutely love your honeymoon in Savannah.
April is a great time to visit as the flowers are blooming around the city squares and the intense summer heat hasn’t begun yet.

I love visiting many places in Europe in April. The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the crowds aren’t quite as crazy as the summertime. So if you’re hoping to enjoy a lovely April honeymoon in Europe, these are the places to go.
7. Paris, France
I mean, Paris is always a good idea. But there is certainly something about visiting Paris in the spring. The city almost feels as if it is singing with the flora bursting with life in gardens across the city, the sidewalk cafes look as charming as ever after winter, and the warm sunshine makes wandering around the City of Love absolutely perfect this time of year.
If there is a perfect time to come to Paris, I’d say April is definitely up there! Wander along the Seine together, have leisurely picnics in parks across the city, take in the culture at various museums including the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, and more, and admire the Eiffel Tower up close.

Cruise around this stunning island, and definitely go and visit the grottos! Wander the island, exploring both Capri and Anacapri and dining at many restaurants for their seafood and a bit of limoncello.

Colmar is definitely a popular town in the Alsace Region of France. This fairytale-like village is full of half-timbered colorful buildings, which seem to shine even brighter in the springtime sunshine.
Colmar is also very well-known for its Christmas markets around the city during the months of November and December.
However, while the Christmas markets are fabulous, you’ll also love visiting their Easter markets during March and April.

But this adventurous country is also full of incredible beaches. You can enjoy beaches along the Caribbean coast like in Puerto Viejo, or there are ample beach destinations on the Pacific Coast including the Nicoya Peninsula, Manuel Antonio National Park, Papagayo Peninsula, and Osa Peninsula.
Places like Tamarindo Beach and Santa Teresa Beach are great for surfing, whereas Punta Uva in the Caribbean is calmer.
And if you want to combine wildlife watching with the beach, places like the Osa Peninsula and Golfo Dulce are amazing!
We absolutely loved staying at the Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge along the Golfo Dulce in Costa Rica. 14. Mauritius
This island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa is a dreamy and hot honeymoon destination in April.
April is a good time to visit as the rainfall is starting to decrease and it is a nice shoulder season between the high season of May-December.

Koh Lipe in April is in the shoulder season, meaning days will be hot but not as rainy as the months of May through October.
