Pro-Tip: The Trevi Fountain is a madhouse pretty much all the time. Even at 7 am, you’ll spot many a person taking photos in the high season. I’ve noticed nighttime is better or before sunrise, if you truly want to go when nobody is there. Otherwise, be prepared to wait a bit to get to the fountain.
